Special Precautions: | Samples should be transported as quickly as possible to the department so sample stability is not compromised. Samples MUST be sent as whole blood (unspun and unseparated) so that they can be referred within 5 days of being taken. Timing of samples: It is recommended a post dose sample, taken 2 hours after the end of administration (and/or 6 hours if monitoring absorption) Clinical Summary is required on the sample request |
